Had a great time at the comic convention at Suntec

The Singapore Game Toy and Comic Convention 2009 was held at Suntec, and I had a great time exploring the booths for about an hour and a half...Brian Bolland was there, Tan Eng Huat was there, and a host of other inspiring artists from Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia. Kind of envy them, they get to do something they love for a living! Well, okay, I should be grateful I'm doing something I like too (teaching, especially Lit). Wonder who'll they invite next year? Jim Lee would be awesome!

You have such a promising gallery! Might I ask, are you're still a student or already working. The gallery looks like an artist's gallery, but I suspect that you're still a student.

By the way, it's amazing to see someone from Singapore here. :)

Hi, EdwinArt, thanks for the nice comments, I'm not an artist but it's always been my dream to one day come up with my own comic :) I'm not officially a student (I'm a teacher actually) but I'm committed to being a student for life! Still learning, and drawing whenever precious time allows.


There are a lot of talented Singapore artists on deviantart, smoosh-smoosh and LastMatStanding are two great examples. There are some fantastic Malaysian artists too, as well as Indonesian and Filipino artists. devianart is one amazing global ';pasar malam' for anyone who loves to draw :)

I loved browsing your gallery, and the comic pages are really nice. It takes a lot of commitment to come up with so many pages, hope to see more!
